Our Misfit Experience
When we first arrived at our location there was less people than we expected, in order to interact with with the public more we decided to stand on the walkway and move across depending on where people were walking so that we blocked their way. A few people ignored and walked around us, where as some people would laugh and walk around us. We had numerous people ask us what we were doing and we told them that it was an art project and that we was trying to interfere with peoples lives. Some people also took pictures of us.

Music notes
We decided to use music that had been played at the Symphony hall so that it would match our outfit more.
We used "March of the Trolls" by Edward Grieg, its fast passed so matches our location as well.
As well as having the music notes wrapped around us we decided to connect each other with them as well that way we can connect more with the audience as we divert them from their original path.
To make the music notes we were going to draw them out on strips of black paper then cut them out however we thought it would be more time efficient and neater if we used the laser cutter. In order to do this we had to make our design on CAD which neither of us had used before. We learnt it very quickly and was surprised how good the outcome was, the only problem was that we had to re-do some of the designs in order to make the lines straighter so it shortened the time as well as sorting out any tiny gaps in the design.
Making
Skirt
We changed our idea of using sheets of music to using a red two tone material then wrapping music notes around it. We got 5meters of material for the two skirts and was going to wrap it round 3 times or have 3 layers of it, however in order to make the skirt puffy we cut the material into strips and tied them around some elastic so we could easily put the skirt on. To make the skirt bigger we put tutus under them.
Blazer
To make the collar bigger we used black card then covered it in the two tone material so it stood out.
Tie
Veil
Legs
We wanted small music notes covering our legs so we used masking tape to create our lines then used eyeliner to draw the music notes on.
